Nestlings at Staverton

A nurturing start to the Staverton journey

We are delighted to introduce Nestlings at Staverton, our new school-based nursery opening in September 2026 for children aged 2 – 4 years old.

Nestlings is designed to give children a joyful, confident start to their learning journey within the warm and welcoming community of Staverton Church of England Primary School.

The name Nestlings reflects exactly what we believe childhood should be. A safe and nurturing place where children grow in confidence before spreading their wings.

A natural start to learning

At Nestlings, we believe young children learn best through play, exploration and relationships.

Our nursery will provide a calm, nurturing environment where children can develop independence, curiosity and a love of learning.

Children will benefit from:

• Experienced and caring early years staff
• A rich play-based curriculum
• Indoor and outdoor learning environments
• Opportunities for creativity, storytelling and exploration
• Strong links with our Reception class to support a smooth transition into school

Being based within Staverton Primary School means children quickly feel part of a wider community.

Nestlings children will:

• Become familiar with the school environment
• Take part in school events and celebrations
• Build relationships with staff across the school
• Feel confident moving into Reception when the time comes

Our aim is simple. By the time children leave Nestlings, they will feel that Staverton is already their school.

• A specially designed outdoor learning area

Opening September 2026

Nestlings will open in September 2026, with places available for children aged 3 and 4.
