We seek to ensure all children develop and progress their knowledge and skills in Science, History, Geography and DT. All children have the opportunity to have practical, hands-on learning experiences within Science, History, Geography, Art and DT. We make connections between our local communities within our curriculum making the learning relevant and relatable to all children. We have embedded an ambitious two-year rolling curriculum for Science, History, Geography, Art and DT ensuring there is clear, logical progression throughout.
The curriculum map has been developed to ensure that over the course of a child’s time at Staverton, they are taught all areas of the curriculum. Children make connections between their previous learning and new knowledge.
