PSHE
Personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) education is an important and necessary part of all pupils’ education. PSHE also addresses the well-being needs of the children and teaches then skills they can use in their every day lives.
At Staverton, we use the SCARF scheme for PSHE. This scheme is based around 6 key themes:
- Me and my relationships
- Valuing difference (Including a focus on anti-bullying)
- Keeping safe
- Rights and respect
- Being my best
- Growing and changing (RSE focus)
Anti-Bullying and Safer Internet usage are also taught at key points in the year to link with National initiatives.
